Simon Harris wants you to vote Tory
Apologies for not having written anything for weeks, i’ve got 3 autistic offspring and i’ve had some health issues. I had pneumonia, which sucked, but after an I had a chest x-ray and blood tests for the pneumonia, I have subsequently had 1 CT scan, 2 CT scans with contrast, 4 GP appointments, an appointment with the Respiratory consultant and a lung function test. I’m having a PET scan next week. What I have learnt from all of this is that if you have enough scans there will be enough abnormalities that they will want to do more scans. Also, if you don’t eat healthily you will end up anaemic. I’ve not got cancer, this is all just overkill. Now on to the important stuff:

I know you probably hear this every day, but i’m your biggest fan. I’ve even seen the dubious shit you did with O’Callaghan. I’ve got a phone full of your posts and your screenshots man, I dislike the shit you did with Kirsty though, that shit was banned.
What did I do to gain this amazing honour? I liked three of your posts. I’m not even following you, including at the time I got asked if I wanted to be one of your top fans. I did not accept your generous offer of a top fans badge. I’ve got a reputation to uphold. Though to be fair, it’s not a great reputation.
Now on to the title of this post. How can Simon Harris, the ultimate lefty, be supporting the Tories? The party that gave us austerity and cut, well everything? My theory is that he thinks he will get something out of it. His bestie is Cllr Danielle Belton who is currently the leader of Rochford council.
There you go, he’s backing a Tory, wants you to vote for a Tory, the man whose whole social media career has been built on him being a lefty and calling out anyone who isn’t now wants you to support the Tories. It also begs the question who is he going to vote for? If the local opposition is that bad that he is urging others to vote Tory, that must also mean that he will be voting Tory in his ward, despite the fact that he’s pretending to be a Green voter on both Facebook and now on Twitter/X. So what is in it for him? With Danielle Belton as the leader of Rochford Council she could be in a position to suggest to the council they pay Simon £350k for some Facebook posts as Essex County Council did. My opinion is this is what he is hoping will happen.
I have written posts on my other blog about the whole Essex County Council Facebook waste of money, I could write some more. I could write a book, I could call in to a radio show and film myself playing back the radio show for some unfathomable reason. I could write a play, a musical, a 6 episode gripping TV drama or even a Film.
Nothing would come close to what a wonderful Youtuber whose channel is called A different Bias did. He made a video regarding the Essex County Council affair. Simon was not happy with this and was offered an interview, which Simon was pleased about. Simon is used to the echo chamber that is his Facebook page, whatever Simon says, people agree with it or he will delete it. As evidenced above all of the non Tory Essex County Council Cllrs who criticised Simon being paid £350k for dubious work, he claims did something to him on a personal level. The work WAS dubious, he was paid £15k for Veterans page that he fully admits henever put any content on. If that’s not dubious I don’t know what is.
A Different Bias was true to his word, he interviewed Simon. He gave Simon ample time to answer each question and let Simon explain his side of things for as long as he wanted to. The full interview which I will link, is an hour long. It was perfect. I say that as someone who has wanted all the questions that he asked answered for the past 2 years. It was also fair, very fair, when it was he was giving an opinion he made it clear it was his opinion. He just read the minds of everyone in Essex who know about this debacle and asked the questions we all wanted answers to.
The title, Essex County Council Exposed made me smile, i’m clearly not the only one who likes the truth coming out regarding ECC.
It’s worth watching, if you are here you are here because of the content of this blog then an hour of your time is worth it. Weirdly, despite Simon wanting the interview to clear up any misconceptions, and despite Simon saying he would share with his followers, it’s strangely absent from all of his social media. That’s how you know it’s worth watching.
The waste of tax payers money is the fault of Essex County Council, they held the purse strings, they were the ones who gave Simon the money. If someone offered me £96k a year for what didn’t even amount to a full time job, I may have done the same despite my leftie views and disdain for ECC. 3 of my offspring have autism and i’ve had no help from ECC, so yeah, I would have taken the money even if I felt it was morally wrong. I wouldn’t have defended it though. Would have spent it all on my kids anyway so at least they would get something out of ECC.
I do believe that Simon will change his political affiliations depending on what he can get out of it. I’m not talking about the big picture, you vote a certain way because you want that party’s policies enacted because you feel they will be most beneficial to you and your loved ones. I’m talking about who might be financially advantageous to him. He feels Cllr Danielle Belton may give him some work, either through her position on the council, or personally. She’s wealthy, big expensive house, has a business, no worries about money, typical Tory. Simon is also spending a great deal of energy on Twitter/X trying to get Zac Polanski to notice him. Wouldn’t shock me if Simon is hoping to get familiar with Polanski with the hope of being able to do social media for the Green Party. I’ve not seen Simon mentioning any of the Green Party’s policies, all he does is act like a hype man for Polanski.
Not to mention that he ran a website all about pushing for Brexit and it being all about Farage being wonderful. Information about that is on my other blog here:
This is actually a great example of why I am writing this, because Simon tricked me into thinking he had the same politically views as myself, all the while he was pushing out Brexit propaganda on a monetised website. If i’m commenting anywhere supporting someone who is a leftie I just assume our values align. In all my many years of the internet I haven’t come across anyone who changes their political views as often as Simon did.
I had a smear test done today. Because of my previous history and having had a chunk of my cervix taken out with a biopsy, this is performed at the colposcopy clinic at the woman’s health unit. The woman’s health unit encompasses everything to do with the female reproductive organs. There were some leaflets, and I have never been as shocked and disgusted as I was when I saw the smear test leaflet.
I almost walked out when I saw it. An informative leaflet, no slogan in sight, and nothing demeaning to women. Who they hell did they get to design their leaflet?

I’ve already covered this in the other blog but as a survivor of sexual abuse that meme haunts me. It was on my mind during the procedure. It was a procedure that hurt. A normal smear test is not painful at all, it’s pretty much done before you know it. Because a chunk of my cervix was taken in the biopsy I had under general anaesthetic it’s not as easy.
During the A Different Bias interview this topic was raised. Simon’s excuse for it was that some people liked it and some didn’t. The unwritten rule is that if you create something that the people you created it for are saying it’s offensive you take it offline immediately and apologise. Despite knowing that this has been triggering for a lot of women Simon has never given an apology, all he’s ever done is make excuses, he gives the impression that he thinks it’s not an issue and it’s just haterz who hate him because he’s a lefty. I will not be the only one who is triggered by this. It was not just distasteful, it was harmful.
So the ultimate lefty isn’t, he’s actively supporting the Tories, and has switched allegiance so many times dependant on what he can get out of it. A whole website committed to supporting Nigel Farage and Brexit.
Also, could whoever keeps trying to reset my blog password stop it please? Actually blogs, Essex County Council Exposed and this one. I get that I haven’t made a lot of friends with the other blog, but this one only had a page about narcissism on it i’ve got no idea who could have been upset by this blog when I hadn’t posted any content yet.
