I’m Just Three Jon Morter’s in a Trench Coat

I thought it was time I came clean and provided you all with a photo of myself, so here you go, this is me:

My ideas are so unique and definitely not stolen from anyone. Hand on heart, I would never ever steal someone elses idea, pass it off as my own, and attempt to get fame, glory, and riches from it. Never ever. Unlike this person on Tattle who stole MY hard work 5 days before I even started writing this blog post

It has now been 5 days since I saw Simon Harris at the library protest, I can hear all those mean tattlers saying that he likely has his own gravitational field and it probably took me 5 days to break free. That’s why we don’t listen to tattlers, because they are meanies. Not me, i’m a good person and would never say that.

My blog posts are purely forensic in nature, I go over information already in existence and often see things that others miss, or make connections others don’t see. I tend to find things on the internet that others overlook. It’s my superpower, along with that whole ping pong ball thing but we don’t talk about that after I signed the NDA.

Jon Morter is behind every single piece of anti-Simon rhetoric on the internet. A social media account says something against Simon? It’s Jon Morter. A social media account has said something against Simon 2 years ago? It’s Jon Morter. It’s all Jon Morter. He’s everywhere, watching, waiting, spending years setting up social media accounts just to make one single post against Simon. Sympathy for the Devil came on my spotify as I was writing this, so yeah, that was clearly Jon Morter trying to tell the world who he is. The man is committed to his craft i’ll give him that. Well i’ll give myself that, given that i’m clearly Jon Morter, i’m also his wife. Almost forgot about the wife.

Jon Morter’s wife makes posts attacking Essex County Council but somehow they are all about attacking Simon Harris even though the posts have nothing to do with him. It’s a skill, i’ll give her that, to attack someone without actually attacking them in any shape or form. So clearly i’m talking about myself again here because i’m also the wife.

The third one is that i’m working with the Morters, that we are besties and the three of us collaborate on the posts on this blog.

I’m just three Jon Morters in a trenchcoat, nothing more, nothing less.

The Morter’s are pissed off at Essex County Council for the whole Facebook crap, just like everyone else was until Simon decided to make it all about him, and pissed off a lot of people in the process. To be fair, if I was them I would have been furious at the exact moment the amounts that Simon Harris was paid were made public.

A lot is said about Simon Harris and what he was paid during the Pandemic, and before and after, but nobody ever touches on the rest. So lets go there together. When I say lets go there, I mean just the Jon Morter bit as i’m three Jon Morters in a trench coat at the moment.

I haven’t found any published contracts for Jon Morter so I will have to solely go off the excel spreadsheet that ECC put together.

£98k is what Essex County Council paid Jon Morter for all the social media stuff he did. It’s actually more than what Simon Harris got paid. Simon Harris only got paid £96k, oh wait, my bad, that was per year.

So Jon Morter got £98k over 7 years which works out to the grand total of £14k per year.

£14k per year. This is the first time i’ve ever worked that out and it makes the Morter’s response to all of this incredibly restrained. I’ve created blogs over less. I’ve made professionals end up in the papers for less. I’ve had personal information about my children put on a Facebook group by a professional and I actually think that Jon Morter getting paid only £14k per year is worse.

It get’s worse. Jon Morter was the one who came up with the whole Facebook amplification thing. It was his idea. He had the contacts, he had the knowledge and was the one in all the admin groups. They shouldn’t have just paid him for his work, he should have been paid for all of his knowledge and experience as well.

Simon isn’t good at social media, in fact he is terrible at it, really terrible at it. Facebook is littered with all of the pages and groups that Simon has tried to set up and have failed. Some of which were paid for using public money. Here is one called The Click. Obligatory screenshot:

This is the link to the Facebook page, there are videos on there and i’m not going to put a warning, if I had to see them then you do too. You may have nightmares, I have, deal with it, I had to.

https://www.facebook.com/share/17uCAJCAGU

Every single thing he does turns to crap, and every single person who isn’t him can see why. In my opinion it’s because he’s lazy, cutting corners at every turn. “If you build it they will come” only applies to baseball fields, not crappy Facebook pages.

Screenshot from the aforementioned Facebook page:

How about telling us what some of those possibilities are? The only thing that is advertised on that page is an advert for pub landlords to increase their profits. If someone is trying to be healthy and lose weight a pub is definitely not the place they should be told to go.

One of the people who Simon gave payments to was Millie Pantry who was a dog walker. Bit weird that but whatever.

As you can see this page failed, as does everything Simon touches. If you are reading this you already know that Simon is a massive failure. He has failed in everything he has done. The only reason he got any money for anything social media related is because he was overpaid for some crappy webpages during a national emergency.

I’m not saying he’s not making money now, he has two projects that I know of on the go at present. St Pierre school Facebook page and Flooded People UK Facebook Page and Group. Both of which I could do, anyone could do. I imagine the school is paying him a modest amount, I would not be surprised if the people of the flood weren’t paying him a decent chunk for various reasons which I will cover in another blog post.

His actual social media career is rubbish though. His Man Behaving Dadly page on Facebook has the biggest following of all of his pages, and the interaction with followers is rubbish. If he’s getting paid for it, he’s not getting paid a lot. One of my children has a song/video on YouTube that has over 1,5 million views. Remittance per month is not a lot but the song was put up a couple of years ago, so there is no effort in making that money now as it’s all done.

Simon thinks what he posts is top notch, but it’s not, it’s also just posts, they don’t make much money, if any, You need to be doing reels or TikTok or something like that to make money and that is a lot of work, a lot of very hard work, something which Simon is allergic to.

All of that is just to get to me saying that the whole Facebook amplification through local Facebook groups was the real work, and that was Jon Morter. I couldn’t do that. I haven’t got the contacts, I haven’t got the network. I can fully accept that would have been useful to public health before and during the pandemic. I got a lot of local information from a local Facebook group during the Pandemic. We all remember the initial panic buying. I have autistic kids, who will only eat certain foods. People were going through freezers and cupboards to find what those of us who needed certain foods needed, and handing them over to us.

At no point during the pandemic did I happen upon Essex Coronavirus action, so yeah, collaborating with previously established groups was a good thing. It kept my kids fed. So now i’m sitting here remembering collecting all of those tins of Heinz Macaroni Cheese and Heinz Ravioli and being overwhelmed with all those happily given them to me to feed one of my children. £14k a year to enable things like that to happen vs £96 a year for data entry. The Morters are the most restrained people in the history of people.

May I refer you an archive of Simon’s blog:

https://archive.is/LB8Qv

Simon is trying to argue on the blog that they didn’t all do the same work. I agree. However, Simon is of the opinion that he did more than anyone else. Simon’s role was mostly just data entry and sharing of posts and photos from others whereas others actually did important things. Which is what millions of people do every single day on the internet. This blog post is equivalent to about 5 days worth of ‘work’ from Simon.

Let’s go back to the dark days of the pandemic, well one of the days, November 3rd 2020 to be precise. As you can see from the blog i’ve linked above, Simon has posted what work he did on Essex is United on that day. It would have been Essex Coronavirus Action at that time. Here is a screenshot from the blog i’ve mentioned above.

Here is the direct link to SImon’s blog, it’s exactly the same as what is on the archive link above. I am posting this screenshot under the fair dealing exception to UK copyright law. My use of this screenshot comes under the criticism part of this exception. I am using this screenshot to criticise how little work Simon actually did during the Pandemic.

Here is the link, though as I already stated it’s exactly the same as the archived link http://simonharrismbd.co.uk/

5 posts over the course of 8 hours from a man on £96k a year at that time, and Essex Coronavirus Action was what he was getting the most money for. Two of them are shared posts which take 2 seconds to hit that share button. This is utterly disgusting. It’s data entry, that is literally all Simon did.

Simon has also posted a chart going over how much work he did broken down by posts he made on Essex Coronavirus Action. The table shows it in posts per month. In November 2020 Simon’s contribution to the Essex Coronavirus Action Facebook page was 7 posts a day. Data entry is not a job that requires skills or education, which is probably why Simon was doing it, it’s not worth £96k a year and no amount of meetings would make up a data entry job into a £96k a year salary.

This is Simon’s evidence that he did more than anyone else, this is Simon’s proof that he deserved £96k a year. Simon actually believes he’s worth that much for a few posts a day. It’s insanity.

If I were to put a price on both my blogs i’d have to go into minus numbers as it costs me to host them, plus the cost of renewing the domains each year. Monetary wise they are worthless. Could I put advertising on them? probably, would I make any money? I actually have no idea but doubt it.

Simon admits on that blog that he got paid for nothing more that a handful of posts a day, attending meetings, and assisting other officials with comms issues. That’s it. That is what the money was for. 7 posts a day, and the odd meeting. He clearly lays it out in his own blog post. For whatever reason, but in my opinion is narcicistic personality disorder, Simon seems to think that him sharing a post on a page is worth a small fortune. It’s embarrasing.

To attempt to prove my point that Simon did not do most of the work, here is a YouTube video, it’s on Jon Morters YouTube channel and it’s of BBC Essex radio broadcast from 14th May 2019. For whatever reason Jon Morter has decided to upload it just as basically an audio file, so just to warn you all that there is no footage of Jon Morter standing there with a coffee mug while nodding along to the radio broadcast. Each to there own I guess, but it just seems strange not filming yourself standing there like a numpty while a radio broadcast plays in the background.

It is worth listening to all the way through as in my opinion it’s pretty damning as to who was the brains behind the initial project and who did most of the work, for a lot less pay than others, especially Simon.

Kirsty O’Callaghan is also on the broadcast, as is Simon, but he’s not in the studio, he calls in to the studio because he wasn’t important enough to be invited into the studio. Of course Simon’s segment is a bit shit, the telephone line is a crackly and he’s just not a good converser. It is what it is.

292 admins that Jon Works with, and 600 who he has heard from and that was way back in 2019. It is clear from that broadcast that he was putting a lot of effort into the project back in 2019. Both Kirsty O’Callaghan and Simon Harris said as much in that broadcast.

You give credit to those who help you or if you just want to use what they’ve done. I’ve even evidenced who I got the title of this blog post from. I was trying to think of a title and I couldn’t get that line out of my head, so I used it, and of course credited who came up with it, in a heavily sarcastic manner, but it’s clear i’m not taking credit for coming up with it. Yes I changed it to fit, i’m clearly not Tattle so the original doesn’t fit, but it doesn’t even come under having inspired me, I used someone elses work, end of.

Now for an apology. If you asked Mr Morter if we have ever spoken he would say no. He would say no because even if he does know this blog exists he doesn’t know my identity. Way way back at the beginning of 2024 when Essex County Council were having meetings, I was an opinionated dickhead to you in the chat on YouTube of one of those meetings. They took away the chat function on the meetings after that one. I cannot remember exactly what I said but it wasn’t positive towards you and I apologise. We were arguing back and forth for a while. That must have been frustrating as hell for you. Not only just having found out you’d been screwed over financially, but then having dickheads like me lump you in with Simon. I say arguing, I can’t fully remember but chances are I was just being a dick and not even listening to what you were saying. I am sorry for my actions on that day, it wasn’t acceptable, I didn’t know all of the information, I was incredibly resistant to even entering into a conversation, I was just a dick.

So it’s clear, this was all Jon Morter, he was the one putting in the hard work behind the scenes. He was the one that made all of this possible. I can see the advantages of what was happening in the beginning. Liasing with already existing groups to help out residents. We are creatures of habit, if we are in a local group we tend to keep going back to that group, money available for side quests for that group was a good idea. A good use of taxpayers money.

A huge thing i’ve noticed regarding the radio broadcast is that it is all about groups. It’s all about the group getting together and putting ideas together and getting a small amount of money for the group. It’s all about the groups. Which then changed during the pandemic to the eleventy billion Facebook pages that Simon was getting paid mad money for doing nothing with.

I now understand what all of that mapping stuff was about. If you are going to use pre existing groups to disseminate information and funds to, you need to map out all of those groups, you need to know the contacts in each area and make relationships with those people. That’s what Jon Morter was doing on his £14k a year. From the broadcast you can tell that everyone agrees this is a lot of work, it would be a lot of work. It’s not just a one and done, Jon would have been talking on the daily to these admins while trying to find new groups to forge relationships with.

Then the pandemic hit. I can fully imagine why it was felt that is was not only important to carry on this work, but to expand it. It’s hard for us to imagine now, but it was a time where nobody knew what was going on, what to do, and how to help.

The Essex Coronavirus Action page was Simon’s baby, and it was pointless. The whole point of the project was to disseminate information to local facebook groups via not the local authority. I know I will listen to a peer more than I will listen to the county council. So the admin of a local facebook admin would be listened to more than the county council.

That’s not what happened with the pages. Simon himself not only states, but is boastful of posting almost all of the posts on Essex Coronavirus Action/Essex is United Facebook page. That isn’t disseminating information via a non authoritian voice, that is someone being paid extortiante amounts of money to do county council work. I believe the average amount Simon was posting on ECA during the pandemic was about 7 posts a day. That isn’t a lot for the money he was being paid. A lot of the posts were, as already discussed, just data entry.

Now I think i’m funny, I like getting praise, we all do. Simon took that to the next level. The growth of ECA wasn’t organic, it was forced. Posts were boosted, Facebook I believe even gave them some free advertising. It didn’t grow because it was popular, it was forced. It was just a vessel for his own ego. The infamous seagull post may have gotten a lot of views but it was pointless. It gave no information, it was just a long winded meme. There was nothing about how it was then illegal to go out and about, there was nothing about what the consequences could be if you were caught going out and about. That post was all about Simon’s ego and not about changing behaviour. It was mostly posts authored by others and shared by Simon, he did little actual work. 7 posts a day takes little effort.

The following is a screenshot from the page on the spending on digital community engagement in the pandemic Essex County Council page here:

https://www.essex.gov.uk/about-council/spending-and-council-tax/spending-digital-community-engagement-pandemic-2020-onwards

That is Essex County Council quite clearly saying that once that money was given to Simon it was out of their control and totally up to Simon who he then gave that money to. The payment was to Simon, end of. The council had no control over where that money went afterwards. Simon paid that money onward, if indeed he did. We don’t have the word of Essex County Council on where that money went, only Simon’s word for that. It was nothing to do with ECC the moment it hit Simon’s overflowing bank account.

I had my garden done last year. I paid someone, he had someone helping him, i’m guessing the person I paid gave his helper money, I don’t know, nothing to do with me. My contract was with the person I hired.

Simon was a contractor, anyone he paid money to was a subcontractor and nothing to do with Essex County Council. This is what is posted by ECC on the Excel spreadsheet that contains all of the information regarding onward payments that Simon made from money that was given to him by ECC.

Please note that this information is supplied based on information given to ECC by Simon Harris which has been requested under the Freedom of Information Act 2000. We have no reason to doubt the accuracy of the information but we are not in a position to verify it.

I’m the last person who trusts ECC but they are tied by certain rules and regulations which they must follow, they cannot post false information. Simon is not bound by those rules and regulations. As Essex County Council have stated, the information Simon has provided regarding the onward payments has not been verified. The council has no reason to doubt, but we don’t know why they have no reason to doubt, likely because they had no way to know if what Simon presented to them was accurate or not. If ECC were not in a position to verify whether the information is accurate, then the general public certainly aren’t, so we actually cannot form a solid opinion on whether those figures are accurate, we just do not have enough evidence to know if they are.

We can certainly make our own assumptions based on all of the available facts we have and other variables we have witnessed, the behaviour of Simon being one of those variables. Do I believe everything that Simon says? Absolutely not, not unless I have proof, therefore, for me to put my hand on my heart and say I believe those figures to be true, I would need actual proof, not just numbers on a screen. Given that Simon was paid the money, which was taxpayers money, by ECC, what happened to that money afterwards cannot be verified. He got to spend that money on whatever he wanted, whether it’s 6 big mac meals to eat in the car, or on subcontracting others. We can see that the whole situation was reported to HMRC by ECC but that is all we know.

Reposting this bit for clarity:

Neel Moojherjee, Anna Harris, and Emmy McCarthy were all paid money directly by ECC, why would being paid by Simon be any faster?

Millie-Bea Pantry, who was a 19/20 year old dog walker/dancer at the time of her first payment from Simon strikes me as odd. She doesn’t strike me as odd, the payments strike me as odd. Her first payment from Simon Harris was on 16/08/2021. This was a payment of £1000 for “EIU group mapping”. She then received a further 16 payments over the next 20 months for the same thing. After the initial payment of £1000 all further payments were £1500 which meant she got paid a total of £26,500 by Simon.

What the hell is “EIU group mapping”? As a council tax payer I should be able to find out, but there are no contracts, no official paper trail, all i’ve got are figures that cannot be verified and no idea why my money was spent and where.

Jon Morter was all about the whole digital communities mapping, but EIU was just one community, how would you map that? I guess easily is the answer to that one. So easily I could do it, where is my £26,500?

It’s all a shitshow, a complete and utter shitshow. There are no contracts, that said we shouldn’t expect them as Simon has no duty to us to supply any contracts that exist between him and his subcontractors. Whatever contract he had with Millie is between him and Millie. Frustrating for the taxpayer but it is what it is. Of course I do have every right to wonder what the hell she did that Simon felt was worth over £26k, and wonder I will, and feel angry about it.

I’ve got the guilt of what I said to Jon Morter over 2 years ago, i’ve got the realisation that he’s had to deal with people like myself not taking anything he says seriously over the past 2 years, and i’ve got the frustration that I cannot fully understand what the hell was going on with this whole Facebook thing during the Pandemic because I cannot have all the information.

We’ve got Jon Morter acting with more class in his little finger than I have in my whole body, we’ve got a local authority who did the bare minimum in investigating what truly went on, and then we have the biggest victim, Simon Harris. Of course he’s not a victim, he just enjoys acting like one. He was given so much money. Simon Harris was paid almost £500,000 by Essex County Council. I’m done with fudging the amount he was paid by taking off the £160k he allegedly paid to others, because we have no impirical evidence to prove that he even paid it. Figures on a spreadsheet are just figures on a spreadsheet, evidence of nothing. I don’t trust a thing Simon says, Essex County Council themselves said they had no way to verify that he’d made the payments, Simon has not provided the public with any evidence those payments to others happened. Or even any proof on what was done by others.

Unverified numbers on a spreadsheet is all we’ve got to show for our money. This is utter bullshit, this is a shitshow of epic proportions. After this deep dive i’ve got more questions and answers and unless Simon Harris is going to suddenly show the world all of his receipts, by receipts I mean all of the proof that every thing he has said regarding this whole mess is true, my questions remain.

I’m not saying that Simon has done anything wrong, i’m not saying that Simon acted illegally or did anything that isn’t in keeping with the actions of a morally upstanding human being, i’m saying I have questions, lots of questions, and I know it’s not just me. £500k, and it was £500k because we don’t have proof that Simon paid any of that money out. We know that he was paid all of that money, but he’s not a trusted source and if ECC weren’t in a position to verify that the payments happened and to the people Simon said they did, then i’m definitely not.

There isn’t any evidence that proves that Simon did anything illegal or wrong. Wrong can also mean a lot of things and the threshold with what is, and isn’t, ‘wrong’ is a personal opinion. I’ve not seen any evidence of illegality and I don’t think any evidence of illegality exists.

I will say that I don’t think Simon is a smart man, with regards to intelligence I would definitely put myself higher on the intelligence scale than Simon is. He’s in that spot where he thinks he is much smarter than he is. Simon is a sole trader, he either does his own accounts or has an accountant, he would have known, or be told, that paying all of those people was a terrible idea. This is one of the reasons I have as many questions as I do.
