In Defence of Tattle

I will be talking about Bond, Sebastian Bond, and all things Tattle.

For those who don’t know, Tattle is a snarking website, snarking is basically where all the peoples go to gossip about influencers, good or bad. It is mostly women on there and women do love to gossip. Other snarking sites are available, Reddit being the most famous. Lot’s of subreddits discussing various influencers and their behaviours.

I am gossiping right now, exchanging messages with a friend about someone we both know who caused a bit of a scene last night, people are going to gossip, people want to find out all the information. The thing about Tattle is that every single thread about an influencer contains opinions based on the information the influencer puts out into the world. Information that they give freely to the general public. They may do this to earn money from the internet, or they may be addicted to the compliments. I don’t know, it doesn’t appeal to me. Everything influencers hate about Tattle has been put out there by the influencer. Don’t want Tattle talking about your kids? Don’t post them. Don’t want Tattle talking about how your lip filler looks like crap? Don’t post photos of it. If you attempt to challenge an influencer you get blocked, Tattle is a space where you can share your frustrations and concerns.

Influencers will of course post how everything is great, how they are great, how their children and their lives are great and how the shampoo they are being paid to promote will make your life 574% better. They also lie, we all do at times, but when your ‘job’ is influencing people, honesty should come into the equation at some point. but who wants to see a life that isn’t perfect? I can sit here and tell you all that I am drop dead gorgeous with a stunning body. I could probably get someone to take a photo of me with all the filters and editing that gives that impression. Doesn’t mean it’s true, or even close to being true.

Tattle is for those who want to fact check what influencers say.

Influencers, especially those with children, can rile people up. From everything i’ve seen I would guess that almost every single Tattle user would like to see a ban on children appearing on social media, I know I would. I know so much about Simon’s children, where they go to school etc, what they look like, medical diagnosis etc. It’s just not right, they haven’t consented to that, and every single thing I know about his children has been put on the internet and made public by their own father.

Tattle is just people reading posts on other platforms and then posting their views on the person posting. You can’t comment on something that someone doesn’t post. If you don’t want any aspect of your life to be examined then don’t post it on the internet. With no right to reply when an influencer deletes your posts or messages then of course people will turn to a 3rd party platform to express their frustration and fears. It’s the same when an influencer is lying, or giving out information or advice that could be harmful. A place to be able to express those views amongst like minded people is a godsend. I’ve been stopped from giving money to people who don’t deserve it by reading Tattle threads. What i’ve read on whatever platform the influencer is on turns out not to be the truth.

Tattle has all of the receipts, screenshots, quotes, dates, times, the lot. It’s not that I trust the stranger who posted, it’s that they are showing the proof. Irrefutable proof. When Simon disappeared off the internet in January 2024 after the public finding out how much he was paid I didn’t believe much of what was being said. I’d followed Simon for a couple of years and as a lefty myself thought he was one of the good ones. I didn’t rely on the opinions of others, I relied on the actual evidence, the irrefutable evidence and came to all of the conclusions i’ve ever talked about here. I read every single post on the Simon Harris threads and i’ve never seen anything troubling on there.

Simon puts a lot of time and effort into trying to get noticed by the public, those who 100% agree with everything he says can post on his socials, those who have issues with the things he posts and especially when he uses his children as content have Tattle to post their views on. If they aren’t on Tattle the really strange ones can always create a blog, but who the hell would do that?

So it’s time for the big question Simon. You’ve said a lot about Tattle, all of it bad, except when you were posting there, obviously, but let me set a scene. There is you and Sebastian Bond across a table from each other, he has a huge red button that says “delete Tattle” on it. What are you going to use as leverage to get him to press that button Simon? You’ve mentioned Tattle bullying kids, causing deaths, trying to get people to permanently harm themselves, and putting people in danger. For you to say these things I trust you have receipts? When I say receipts I mean screenshots of the posts with the content that has caused all of the things you claim that Tattle does.

Just one screenshot of a post where a Tattler is encouraging someone to harm themselves, or anything like that would cause an utter outrage amongst everyone. If I saw such evidence I would never read Tattle again and I believe I speak for a lot of people when I say that. Tattles rules are strict, everything you say they do would get your post removed and your account banned.

I’ll admit, I would hate for myself and my children to be talked about on a forum such as Tattle which is why i’d never put myself and my children out there on the internet. I am a nobody, there is absolutely nothing special about me, people will read one of my blog posts and then they will read something else and entirely forget they were reading my blog minutes ago. When I am out and about nobody looks at me like they know me from somewhere, there aren’t any strangers who are invested in my life and the lives of my children. I am the epitome of anonymous, both online and in real life, nobody cares about what myself and my family get up to.

And that is the way I like it. Even if my name was attached to this blog it wouldn’t change anything, I don’t put my life on social media, I haven’t posted any photos of my children on my friends only social media for about 10 years now. I don’t want a horde of followers who will hang on my every word, I don’t want to post photos of myself and be told i’m pretty, or not. If you want to be a public figure by putting your whole life online then your WHOLE life will be online, the good and the bad. Great for the ego when people like what your are doing, a bit harsh when they don’t, but that’s people for you, different opinions.

The cost of fame is not a price i’d ever be willing to pay and definitely not a price i’d have ever made my children pay.

I wish someone would make a petition to ban influencers from using their children in their content, i’d sign that so fast.

Receipts or stop making shit up.
